ID - Intentional Disciples

The Avon Thames Catholic Family of Parishes has partnered with Renewal Ministries to coordinate the Stratford, Ontario chapter of ID (Intentional Disciples).

ID exists to form young adults into intentional disciples of Jesus Christ. We partner with local churches to establish communities of missionary disciples by providing opportunities for young adults (20/30s) to encounter Jesus Christ, decide to follow Him, and bring others into a life-saving relationship with Him.

Pope Benedict described a “crisis of discipleship” in the Church today. Young adult Catholics are leaving the faith at alarming rates, as a result of ineffective evangelization and discipleship. We are helping to raise up Spirit-filled leaders who can build communities of intentional disciples, who are characterized by a ”missionary impulse” (Pope Francis), or a deep ache to spread the Good News.

Disciple's Night

Every first Thursday of the month we meet at St joseph’s Catholic Church, 96 Huron St, Stratford, ON.

Schedule

• 5:45pm: Confession
• 6:15pm: Mass
• 7:00pm: Dinner
• 8:00pm: Talk

$10 in advance, $15 at the door.
